Campaign description

Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County is bringing the collaborative spirit of the craft brewery community to raise $65,000 to fully sponsor a home for a local Williamson County Habitat for Humanity homebuyer.  The Georgetown Beard Club is honored to team up with our local breweries to be part of this fantastic project benefiting a future Habitat homeowner.  We invite you to join the Georgetown Beard Club as we try to raise $7,500 to contribute toward the project.  With your help, we can turn the House that Beer Built into the House that Beard Built.  You can donate to the club through the donate button or give directly to the House That Beer Built by going here.

On February 29, 2020, we’ll help cap the whole campaign off at Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County’s Hops for Houses Beer Festival.   The festival will feature beers from over 25 craft brewers from all over Central & North Texas!

Festival Hours are Noon – 7pm with VIP early entry at 11am.

Festival participants will receive 8 beer sampling tickets to be exchanged for 8 – 3oz pours from attending breweries. Additional sampling tickets will be available for purchase at the event in addition to the commemorative House That Beer Built pint glasses. The festival will also feature a silent auction, live music, food trucks and more!

The festival will take place at the Williamson County Expo Center, 5350 Bill Pickett Trail, Taylor, TX 76574.  For more information about the Hops for Houses Beer Festival, see www.facebook.com/habitatwilcotx/
