The Playful Child Foundation

The Playful Child Foundation: Healthier Kids Mentally and Physically, was created in 2018 in honor of Kade Damian.  Kade died one month shy of his third birthday in March of 2018 in a tragic accident.  His playful and joyful spirit is remembered through the mission and goals of the non-profit.  Our words could not possibly do justice to the mission of the Playful Child Foundation so please go to their website and find out much more about this wonderful charity.

The Georgetown Beard Club was introduced to the Playful Child Foundation through a mutual friend of the club at Georgetown’s Living Room, Mesquite Creek Outfitters.  We are honored to play a small role in raising funds and awareness for such a worthy endeavor.  You can give from our website and 100% of what we raise (minus payment processing fees) will go directly to the Playful Child Foundation.  If you would like to be more directly involved with the Playful Child Foundation, on April 30, 2020, at Berry Creek Country Club, The Playful Child Foundation is holding a benefit concert and gala titled Songs in the Key of Kade to raise the funds needed to begin working on the construction plans for the park.  Tickets and information about the amazing evening they have planned can be found by clicking here.
